Not sure another mech could do this much damage, Supernova maybe?

It was on Grim yesterday in a partially skilled Fafnir 5E with 4 lrm 20's.(ty Eisenhorne)

No I probably can't do it again. But I shouldn't have been able to do it in the first place.

Damage is more dependant of number of assults. And LRMs can do more damage easier as they naturally spread.

I did 2.1k with a lvomit ebon jag back in the day when clan lvomit was super duper, and still lost that drop to the last remaining enemy, that was the only time I broke 2k in qp

I see direct fire mechs like the Deathstrike bring in 1000 damage regularly, and thats 1000 damage that isnt spread over every component.

Yea, but those weapons require you to actually do more than hold your cursor approximately over the enemy position and press the damage button repeatedly.

Typical lrm boat damage with hardly any kills for the amount of damage done. A direct damage mech with that damage score would have killed a lance and half. Carry on potatoes.

You can actually use a macro that toggles a key, this way you don't even have to click the button repeatedly

So the takeaway from this thread and based on the 2 screenshots...
Is if your a lumbering lurm boat and racked up over 1700 dmg in QP then your team just lost.
