it's common knowledge that the Timber Wolf hero, the Warrant, is pretty much worse than than all its non-hero counterparts (except the Prime CT).
this is because the CT has no hardpoint at all.
sure it has +30% c-bills, but that doesnt really make up for this downside.
because the TBR is an omni, how good the mech is really depends on its CT.
and all the best TBR builds utilize the energy CT hardpoint
- 2 cLPL + 5 cerML Laser vomit
- 5 cerML + cGauss Gauss vomit
- 2 cHLL + 1 cerML + cGauss Heavy laser gauss vomit
so really the best CTs are the A, C, D CTs
the S is also a good CT because it has a single JJ, because then you dont have to take the 2 JJ STs (which the above builds mostly use) and you get an extra ton and pod space.
so:
- 4 SRM6a + pulse lasers + single S CT JJ.
which leaves the Prime and Warrant CTs, which are the worst of them all.
the Prime CTs ballistic hardpoint is practically useless as there arent any top tier builds that utiize it.
The Warrant doesnt have any CT hardpoint. which makes it equally as useless as the Prime CT.
which really means that its not worth spending MC on.
which finally brings me to my suggestion.... (apologies for the long windedness)
how about you update the Warrant and give it a CT ECM hardpoint.
this would add very good flavour and variety to the TBR chassis (which positively everyone loves)
and i GUARANTEE that it will bump ups sales.
i GUARANTEE that people will fork out money or MC to purchase a hero ECM TBR.
