After starting a search for a match in the solaris menu, I noticed that when I moved my cursor to the very top left corner of my screen, I heard the hover-over sound play. I clicked and was brought back to the main menu but still had the solaris searching for match overlay. after canceling the search, the game never left the "canceling" stage. One note, I have three monitors, so perhaps I am able to move my cursor slightly off the center display onto the gui buttons.
