Of the IS chassis on sale, for the most of them I seem to have at least one already. Really should start a list with unowned chassis.

Osiris is not the best light mech to play, but they are quite versatile. You could play them as hit and run skirmishers, or as supporting small weapon platforms.

They are too large to dodge bullets, and not nearly as tanky as commandos, javelins, wolfhounds,firestarters, panthers or urbanmechs.

My advice is to avoid 'finisher' piranha close range builds (it can be done, but they are oversized glass canons), and stick with ERML or ML, in combination with missiles, MRM or SRM, and perhaps light machine guns if you insist on using the ballistic hardpoints.

Just had another look, and only of these few IS chassis I don't have anything in my garage:
Osiris, Cicada, Kintaro, Vindicator, Vulcan, Champion, Highlander, Fafnir, Nightstar

2 of these are $ only at the moment: Will probably get the Vulcan hero once its on sale, not sure on a viable champion.
No idea about the other 7.

I managed to find several designs which I wanted to bring into existence. While they're not all constructed yet, I've at least got the Chassis Variants to start from. It's better than not having at least those in my Mech Garage, right?
