Hey folks, as per the title I'm wondering how things are looking in MWO online. Haven't played for roughly two years or so. I picked up the Battletech game from HBS recently and have been really enjoying it. I have also been looking forward to the new single player Mechwarrior game from PGI. Single player is usually more my speed, though I enjoyed my time on this game as well. So basically my questions boil down to...

What's the state of the game?

Any cool or interesting developments from either a technical or content perspective in the last two years?

I realize it's a free game and I could just download it and jump in, but I thought I would see if anyone was willing to enlighten me on what I've missed. Any insight is appreciated.

At the end of the day, its not really about the state of the game.

Its more about what's your expectations.

If you are playing casually, staying in T5 to T3 would be best.

If there is stuff that annoys you about MWO, it's never going to go away. No reason not to try it, though, unless you're on limited data.

The game is almost the same as it was in beta. New mechs, some new maps (still terrible map design). QoL changes so small they're almost negligable but still appreciated.
All in all, if you left because you didn't like it, nothing has changed. If you left cuzz you got bored, you'll have fun again because come on, it's giant mechs duking it out.
