At the end of a match, allow players to rate their match, such as giving a thumbs up, thumbs down, or nothing.

Two reasons :
- Give moderators an insight on things such as match satisfaction, and how well the latest MatchMaker changes are affecting the ratings.
- Encourage players to behave in a way, that they will manage to pull off a better game rating.

As for what a positive game rating would do, such as the result of the vote being visible or invisible to players, and a positive vote resulting in a game bonus of some kind (such as affecting the amount of supply crate points earned for that match, or giving the winning team a +10% bonus)... Well whatever works best.

just voting without benefits is best for the quality of the data.

I think this might be a good way to "flag" games for the mods/devs to see if there are certain game results where players are especially satisfied/unsatisfied with.

I am just wondering what that would achieve... So 10 people vote "This match sucked!"... Soo... That triggers, what?

Support will not look just at matches people were unhappy with. They have actual customer requests to work on... And you can bet that on a 12-0 stomp, something like 10 people will click on a negative rating.

As long as PGI does not actually do anything with the data, I do not see the point of it. And considering their developer resources, I do not see them working on something like this...
