The hotter you get the higher chances for Ultra AC jams and you could possibly add RAC cool down effects to random weapons, randomly, while heat is beyond a certain point as well.

You could cause the HUD to fade/become invisible, randomly, etc...

There are ALL SORTS of options available that can be done with mechanics that already exist in the game.

What exists now is stupid.
