Welcome fellow testers (and Mechwarrior fans). I decided to create a number of reference sheets not long after getting in the beta because simply put there weren't any quick and easy to read images of the raw game data that was being compiled by others. What you see below are the results of my efforts. I hope it's as useful to you as it has been to me.

If this guide helps you please do consider checking out / subscribing to my Youtube channel which is now partnered up with The Game Station. It's a quick and easy way to help me out, plus you may even see some MWO content on occasion. This may include guides about in-game tactics, and on building the best mechs possible.

Alternatively I've been asked several times to share a Paypal link. If my sheets have helped you, you're not into the whole Youtube thing, but you'd like to send a gift you can use the button below to do so. This is entirely up to you.

Update! We now have a web version of the Excel document available for you, which should get updated very quickly after patches go live. You can find it at:

https://docs.google....oteG9BbUE#gid=0

Now on to the reference sheets! First up, Mech Hardpoints. We're messing with colors again in order to maintain compatibility between Excel and non-excel users (i.e. Open Office, Google Docs). We're starting to run short on room in this sheet, we might have to split chassis types going forward (Lights + Mediums, Heavies + Assaults).

Much like my hardpoints content, here's a quick reference sheet covering just the weapons in Mechwarrior Online.

Missile damage assumes landing a full volley, which isn't typically realistic due to terrain, AMS, and of course general guidance issues. LB-X spreads damage over the areas hit by 10 mini-shells. Lasers need to retain focus on the target in order to apply full damage.

Range on anything but the missiles designates the effective range of the weapon, where full damage can be applied. The distance between range and max range designates where damage tapers over distance. For missiles SRMs apply full damage at 0-270, nothing further and LRMs apply full damage (if they are able to hit) up to their max range. Standard PPCs have a minimum range of 90M.

Engine data added as well, both as a full breakdown and information cheatsheet. See full engine sheet for a more detailed breakdown.

More engine data in the chart below. Some engines come with heatsink slots that can fit either single or double heatsinks inside (depending on your heat sink upgrade level). When heatsinks can be placed each one occupies just one slot inside, regardless of the size.

Tonnages had to be shifted off to a new sheet due to the addition of new mechs. You can find the resource on a new tab of the Excel sheet, and/or in the images and PDFs below.

Note: If you're not familiar with Excel, then it may appear when you download the XLS that it's only one sheet. Excel documents actually support multiple sheets, look at the lower left part of the excel doc and you'll see the tabs. Click on them to switch to different pages. :)

I can break these hardpoints down too with a chart showing where each hardpoint is if you guys would like. Same type of format of course. I mainly just wanted to create something that could be seen right on a single page, and that was easy to read.

An expanded list would also be useful, thanks!

Created and added! Now all hardpoints can be seen visually, combo points are identified as well (1E + 1M = 1 Energy and 1 Missile).

Thanks for the feedback guys! As you can see I could use help populating AMS data now that each mech has a slot. If you own any of the other mechs please take a peek and let me know where the AMS spots are.

This is awesome, it really helps when you're trying to decide what mech to buy.

Fantastic job! I was just planning doing something like this when I stumbled in this topic.

Only one thing bothers me: why but why the energy is green and missiles red? You can't imagine the hopes I had when I was checking the variants only to be frustrated realizing I was seeing the "wrong" weapon type. I'm too conditioned to the color codes of MW4 :) , but I still appreciate the work .

Nice

The second sheet has all the info contained in the first. Making the first redundant.

Can you fileshare the sheet?

But I appreciate the work.

Edit: I guess i could just save the picture.....

For truth.

The forums are hit hard when I get off work and makes getting on here to look at hardpoints a major pain. A savable image is a huge time savor.

Colors are easy to swap, what colors would have have liked to see instead? At the least I can just make a custom version for you, or replace altogether if there are more requests.

I turned the first image into a link, and linked the 2nd image as well for those that want to right click and save as. :)

Nice job on the chart! I believe the Catapults have the AMS in the right torso, btw.

Something else you might want to consider for the split cells instead of using the blue color:
