From a match just a few minutes ago, there's an unusual box in the lower middle HUD that's got some map grid in it.

I don't see anything.... Wait... Now I do. Wow, that's actually really weird. Was that there since the beginning of the match or did it appear later?

This appears to also be happening on other chassis. Note at the bottom of the screen -- this is while zoomed in, the battlegrid is visible. Also the heat bar is masked out by battlegrid as well. No difference after running the repair tool.

This is the box that should contain the heat level (same as your speed) It seems to not be displayed.
Do you have a custom user.cfg, a 21:9 screen or a big fov ?
Not related to your problem, but I find very insteresting that we see a part of the battlegrid in that box, seems like the whole battle grid is displayed (with a mask) and then the hud is put on top.

My monitor is 1920x1200 and FOV is set to 100. I'll check my user.cfg when I get home, thanks for thinking of that.

Looks like it was the user.cfg. I had two lines pasted in that supposedly improved performance, and I'm guessing the culprit is the first one:
sys_flash_newstencilclear=1
e_ParticlesShadows=0
sys_flash_newstencilclear=1
e_ParticlesShadows=0

I had one report from someone having problems with sys_flash_newstencilclear (but on the borders of the screen ) . He had a 21:9 ratio monitor.
But i've been using this for 2 months without problems.
Do you have other lines in your user.Cfg ?

Nope, that was it. I've since deleted my user.cfg.
