Hi.
I'm coming back to this game after a very long hiatus and let me just say that this doesn't look good for PGI.
For whatever reason, after downloading the game again, I still have to patch the game, and there is no indication that it is doing anything after ten minutes.
Why pray tell, is it, that even after downloading the current patch to a manual extraction folder, is it attempting to download the patch, and taking its sweet time in updating?

Edit: I have flushed and changed DNS, I have manually downloaded the patch, I have rebooted, I have disabled AV, I have deleted install, currently working on reinstalling.
Many, many, many a baleful and profane oaths have been sworn throughout this debacle of an update process.

Just wait for it to download the patch. Be patient. From my experience, patching takes about 30 minutes. Just launch the patcher and go eat your dinner or something. Sitting in front of the computer and shouting won't make it work faster.
