I've been playing the Fafnir alot, the 5B, and from what I can tell, I think there's some sort of hit box issue because no matter what, EVERY match I've died in it (and I've died in it a lot), EVERY match, the right torso pops first.

It got so bad that one match I kept a building to my right and spent damn near the entire match only exposing my left side, AND STILL lost the right torso...

Anyone else notice this?

Is your instinctive torso twist to the left?

Sounds like you may have an unintentional twist bias.

Where is your ammo stored? That could be the issue as well.

Check your build, make sure the armor is on both sides. Other than that, the mech is symmetric, so you're exposing one side more than the other.

It would be really weird if he posted this and had not already thought of ammo location, armor, and twisting bias.

Yeah, I'd thought of all that actually... Hence my consciously parking my right side of my 'mech behind a building as much as possible to see if I could lose my LEFT torso first... STILL lost my right torso.

As far as ammo it's not the ammo, though, I am running dual HG on that build... But you'd think OCCASIONALLY I'd blow up my left torso... It doesn't happen.

It's just weird that in THIS PARTICULAR 'mech I ALWAYS lose my right torso.

Doesn't happen in my KGC, or Marauder, or Bushwackers... Just the Fafnir...

The only Asymmetric Fafnir is the Wrath with 1B in the RT and 2E + 2M in the LT

My guess is people are just naturally aiming for the RT on any Fafnir, because it has the highest chance of containing a suicide bomb HGauss
