Academy Button Flashing

Since the last update, my Academy button won't stop flashing. I've entered and left the academy several times, but it won't stop. It's driving me crazy. Is this a bug or do I have to complete the Academy to stop it?

ive not completed and mine has not been flashing. try checking cache or verifying files?

I've done everything I can manage in the academy, and mine also refuses to stop that animation. It might not be a major thing, but it is annoying and I would like to see it get nerfed.
