Christmas lights decals (specifically the orange one) can be used to simulate heated barrels.

Saw a Mauler with a pair of Decals that moved.
Comically it said "LRM" support and flew back and forth on his arm as he moved.

And not a single missile on the mech.

(Imagine the moving is a bug.)

That is in fact a bug that's been around for awhile. Happens on the right side of the mech. Removing the decal and placing it again fixes it but sometimes the only way to even know it's broken is to go in the freecam in the testing grounds and setting the throttle with the numpad.

Anyway, very cool find, Bandito. Unfortunately I missed the orange lights day.

The Hell Eye decal can also be used to make barrels glow as if they're overheated from firing, though it works best with large-bore guns. Place it in the center of the bore, then expand it until it wraps out around the sides. Looks amazing when applied to AC20/LB20X on the Hunchback.

Yeah I did that last night with my new UV. Eight barrels, eight decals, aligns nicely.
