2. Nvidia panel, Power Management mode, set to Max Performance.
Is AA enabled in the Nvidia or game settings?

Played Witcher 3 on Ultra and Metro Last Light on Ultra with perfect FPS today.
Often have drops down to 30 in MWO, and at 30 that game does not run fluent enough at all. Especially with lights it s a struggle and no fun to play.
I noticed that one year ago it ran ok on medium settings with my old laptop.
With my new laptop and a 1070 and an i5 7600 it ran very well too until a couple of months ago. Then the fps dropped especially on maps like river city or crimson, so maps with water and a lot of buildings. Solaris city never ran well. And lrms on alpine or polar totally kills the fps.
The optimization of the game did get worse with the last patches I think. It stops being fun for me as I never do as good as I could due to low FPS.

Task Manager - processes - choose MWO - right mouse click - set priority to high.
Still sucks to turn down the graphics to low in some settings and playing on 30 fps on a new PC.

The primary difference between MWO and other titles is the backend work the system has to work with, which isn't graphical. The 1700 as a base of 3.0ghz and temp OC (turboboot) 3.7ghz.
Is the system OC at all? MWO benefits from higher speeds.

So i dont have any dust/heat/whatever issues.
My system is not OC yet because i dont have any experience with that.
Just downloaded AMD Overdrive. So if you guys have any hints what i should change concerning my CPU i ll do it.
Perhaps that would help Trilik too.
Worst maps are Forest, River, Crimson, all maps with water - if i am running through water framerate is very low.

Look up a thread like 4 or 5 pages ago, it says low fps with a 1080.
Nightbird posted something you have to put in your user.cfg
Make sure that you adjust the job system according to the number of your cores.
EVERYTHING WORKS FINE ON MY PC NOW!
Still get some FPS drops down to like 45 to 50 but its running good. Before even when it showed 60 FPS it stuttered somehow.
Put everything on low but environment and object detail and texture on high.
I can play lights again and the fast movement changes dont make any problems.
Did not play any water maps or solaris city yet though. Still ridiculous how bad that game is running on many systems.
PS: Played Crimson now, works ok somehow. FPS drops on River. Water kills the FPS.
That game ran so much better 1 year ago. I played it on my old laptop.

Some FPS drops still but playability is good.
What I found out - game stutters a lot if I dont activate v-sync, no matter the framerate.
And FPS is horrible with DX9 (yes, 9!), much better with 11 on my PC.
