The Penetrator would let you do that with all high mounted hardpoints, whereas most IS mechs capable of that loadout have to use mostly or entirely low or lowish mounts. The lack of hand actuators (also unlike most IS laser vomit mechs) would let you pack in more stuffs as well.
I can guarentee PGI would make up a hero or reinforcement variant with ballistic arms, making it great for Gauss vomit or dakka vomit. Lastly, its JJ access would stand out among the IS 75-tonners because only the Thanny and Bounty Hunter 2 can equip them (of which the Thanny is a bad robot and the BH2 has mostly low hardpoints and is not a C-Bill mech).
And of course it's ripe for innuendos. Prepare for penetration!

I like the Penetrator in the Table Top but I can see it having the same trouble as the Thanatos; wide torso making it easy to target from afar.
It will be hard to make a effective Caesar that won't take away from the Cataphract as it started life as a Cataphract clone.
Have never been a big fan of the Cestus, always seem like TRO filler to me.
Cerberus fans will need to compete with Gunslinger fans as the two Gauss boats get a little redundant
I'll throw the Thunderhawk in as a possibility but it will likewise will need to compete with the Devastator.
The Exterminator would be interesting if pulled off right. Something the same size as the Roughneck with ECM and a chest full or MRMs.

Thunder Hawk would probably be eligable for an increase to the number of Gauss Rifles you can charge simultaneously...but I dunno if we want to have 45 very long range zero heat PPFLD being flung around. Basically Extended Range twin Heavy Gauss Rifles that don't require STD engines.

The Ninja Turtle shells above the cockpit probably ruin its hitboxes though.

Not everything is about Gauss. Gunslinger only has max 2 ballistics, while Cerberus has 4 ballistics spread between the arms and the STs (the rear ST mounted MGs will be moved to the front). Which means it can run builds such as quad LBX, or 2xUAC10 + 2xUAC5, while offering better hitboxes/convergence than the NStar.

Ginslinger is little brother who is just about to hit puberty, while big bro Cerberus is already hitting the gym and chasing the girls.

Most of the Marauders have jets as well (the 3R lacks them). The 5D and 5M both have 5 energy hardpoints (the 5D also has 2 missile points, the 5M has 2 ballistic), while the BH2 has 7 energy and a ballistic. Hell, you could rig the BH2 with 2xLPL, 5xERML, UAC5+2 tons ammo, 4xJJ, 424/462 armor, and +4 sinks (endo, light ferro, double sinks). https://mwo.smurfy-n...62e379fa85d318c Might be a little hot, but if you're willing to lose some range there's the possibility of dropping down to straight MLs instead of ERs.
I will also say that the Penetrator's torso weapons aren't really high (granted, higher than the Marauder's arm hardpoints), they're fairly comparable to the Warhammer's torso energy points.
