Pretty much Title says it all. I have really gotten tired of listening to folks complain about how bad the team is, How they don't know how to play, How much they are noobs,, or what ever...

this after never calling a target, never calling a grid, never doing anything to actually help folks work together.


Yup i lost it earlier tonight when some dude on mining said, WTF are you 2 assaults doing in D4? Or was it C4? I dunno, what ever the far side is on the right. What happened before that? 4 lights rand down and nascared the long way.. all the way to the other teams base. (down 4 mechs in the middle.) The rest of the team barely stopped on the ramp, and speed on by.. to nascar down low.. *(the side with no cover) by the time they got mid way, they start piping up about noobs, with no clue.. as we were kinda stuck.. Could not push the middle because everyone was gone.. or go wide. We went wide.. at that point by the time the nascar was at the other ramp the endless talk about noobs, and yayaya was going on.


So, not a single call, Not a single person up top by the time we could of pushed.. not a single person on the perch... and 4 guys running wide.. Sorry i didn't suicide the middle for ya.


Yup, Rant about PUG's.. but not about not knowing how to play.. But about treating people like crap... On skirmish no less... or was it assault.. taking the middle is the last thing you need to do.. as is nascar..

TBF, you Assaults should have told the team to wait up, or have them take the middle ramp. I constantly do that when I'm in an Assault--as a slow mech pilot you have to make sure your team covers you--and many of my team actually listen.

Being a "silent" Assault is only gimping oneself.

Cause proper positioning matters a lot for the class.

I find that when I decide to call a match most people listen more often than not. Especially when piloting a large slow assault mech.

Try playing an LRM assault..

Anyway... I've noticed there's always that "one guy" that will blame his inaptness on everyone else, call you names, dump on you.. It's just the way it is sadly.. Mute/Block them and move on..

The problem is when you drop with a full group of such lower life forms.. (some big groups are extremely salty and rude).

Then your block list suddenly swells and you gotta take some time to cool off before your next game..

During events like this it's all mindless Nascar on any map that can possibly fit it, 24/7, with missiles. 'Elites' are just shrugging because even simple calls to hold a chokepoint and blast the enemy down will be ignored so there's little point in talking. Only advice I have is to clock in, get your free goodies, and clock out to later consider playing the game when events are over.

This is all happening because of PSR.

This game has population of about 50% competitive guys and 50% casual/lore players. And putting all those guys in Tier 1 is just facking stupid. Us competitive guys knows what to do and see whats going on in battlefield. We see when people are making mistakes, because we have made those mistakes before.

It would be so much easier if Pilot Skill Rating would mean something. Most competitive guys wanna just fight tough fights and win. Guess lore/casual just wants their lorefix with bad builds and dont give a sh1t about winning games. There shouldnt be guys in tier 1 who needs micromanagement over voip to do right things in battlefield. Tier 1 should mean that everyone knows what to do.

Thats why there is so much salt and rage to guys who doesnt know what to do. Which isnt their fault. Its PGI's fault. Can we get PSR reset pls.

Aussies don't have accents thou people from other parts of the world sound funny, could be their accents.

Yeah, useless complaining on comms is one of the most scrubby things you can do in games. Just don't do it, no one cares or needs to hear you rant.

If you need to vent you can do it just as well without pressing the push to talk button.

What is annoying is that a lot of otherwise good players do it too, including people in my unit. I've often had to mute people in teamspeak just because they have the weird habit of constantly complaining out loud over comms. Seriously, say useful things, say funny social things, but otherwise for the love of mechajesus shut the **** up!
