Nostalga made me do it. I brought the pre-order after seeing the video from Russ. I admit that I brought into the franchaise, and to be fair don't mind supporting them, assuming that the game comes out.
For those thinking about it, you create the MW5 account, you pay your money, it confirms that you have purchased the game (I think that I was number 980 something) and the time that you purchased it. You get a redeem code that you pop into the Redeem section in the MWO.
You wait for the MC's and the other gear to come through, an hour goes by.... 90 mins... you email support, who with in 1 min come back with the process above, so you screen shot that you followed it yet it did not work. They come back with in a few minutes (support to be fair are excellent), with a reply effectively saying, wait we batch upload the codes and every hour on the hour the profiles and codes get actioned. It is now 2 hours and 30 mins, so unless I have done something wrong, (and the code in the redeem section tells me I have done it right) there is a problem with either the codes, or their systems uploading the profiles from MW5.
So you send them this in an email, suddenly the replies stop, the support is not so immediate...… what is going on with the MCs PGI, are we getting it, or was it an elaborate scam by the Government to steal blocks of $120 from randoms that some Nigerian dead prince wants to leave to me. Hopefully you can review this and update me.
Really looking forward to MW5, really hope that it is as good as the Mechcon trailers suggest, just hope that we get more than one month of beta testing if this process that you are doing for preorders is anything to go by.

Unless it's changed support doesn't work 24/7. Last time I had an issue. It took like 4 days to resolve. Because past 6PM pacific they'd stop responding. Which I assume is when the person handling my issue goes home. So unless they now have 24/7 support and shift people around to handle tickets. You may have to wait till tomorrow for the next response.

The Community Editions won't be on Steam though, keep that in mind if you're wanting the extra goodies.

Mine worked just fine. If you had some sort of glitch or the payment hadnt cleared yet, dont worry they will sort it out. You were probably on too late for a CSR to get back with you tonight.

Enter redeem code, start up MWO and log in. Presto all the goodies are there.

Credit where credit is due. Just finished at work and got home, logged in, and it is all there. Thanks to the support team for fixing this issue, sincerely appreciated. Good luck on the delivery date. Want to be a Millennial, I cannot wait
