I am attempting to join a 2 vs 2 match in solaris, and have waited quite a long time but no one is in the LFG?
Did something change since the last patch, or is LFG not working anymore?
I am trying to complete the new 'Winter Soldier' challenge and need to play 2 vs 2.

Any recommendations?

Nothing changed.

2v2 died about 9 days after the first season, 6 months ago.

The solution? Don't waste time on it outside on an event. Not that it's a good solution, it's just the only one.

You have a game mode with 7 buckets that requires you to have a partner to play with, and you're probably not playing during peak population time. Yeah you're gonna have a heck of a time not getting a match.

You need to schedule a match by getting 4 players together.

Ah well there you go - I haven't logged into the events page for a week!

But then given it's only a single match... Not sure how well that's gonna help compared to last ones.

Finding two people who want to ply simultaneously is tough enough...four is nearly impossible. Plus finding four people to play the required number of matches is virtually imaginary.

Best bet is to post a day or so in advance what time you’re playing...hit all the forums and the reddit subs and you can probably swing half a dozen people to show up.

I haven't played 2v2 for quite a while and was drawn into doing it because of the event requirement.
After waiting for about 40 min in the LFG and not seeing anyone (in the world???) showing up, thought there was something wrong.

I am aware that Solaris is a farm for the elite players to harvest points, and as a result average players lost interest in taking a beating most of the time, but I did not consider the effect on the 2v2 match.

What is considered 'peak' population time, anyway?
Maybe I'll give it one more try.

Due to the event I was able to get a good bit of my unit mates in and we did the doubles. Will be back tomorrow to play some not sure what time yet but had no trouble whenever logged on today. It's unfortunate it isn't more popular bc I find it really fun. Maybe more events would help with slightly better vanilla rewards.

Remember that if you get 25 matches in a 2v2 queue, you qualify for rewards at the end of season. The leaderboards were sparse enough last season that basically anyone who did 25 got into top 100. This season, 17 days away from the end, the 2v2 leaderboards have 20, maybe 30 players. Grab some mates and grind out those matches for C-Bills and GXP.

This event requires a win for 2v2 in solaris to qualify for the prize.
Trying again today, and still no one showing up in LFG fro solaris.
I feel I must be doing something wrong.
I have my mech associated with a patron, click the LFG, and wait (and wait, and wait - - -)
Even tried the 'create a group' (and wait, and wait - - -).
I cannot believe that in the entire gaming world, no one shows up in the que???

Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

Have you tried inviting players who show up in the LFG list to your group?

Bring three other people so that you have two teams. If you don't do that, 2v2 queue is essentially dead.
