Because I am baffled after each round how exactly does this sht go!

I do squad sht, like almost nothing, 100 damage and run around a bit killing nothing and dying patheticly... we lose, 170k credits earned.

I get two kills, 600 damage, components destroyed, this and that, good fight, we lose, 170k earned.

I do something in between these two matches, 300-400 damage, maybe one kill, maybe a component, we lose... 170k earned.

HOW DOES CREDIT CALCULATION WORK?!
Like ffs, I've had matches where I fired one laser, did 4 damage because the laser didn't even finish its cycle before a double heavy gauss one shots my light at the start of the match and I'd earn MORE than when I do like 300-400 damage in the same mech the next match.

I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't messed up.
How does "damage, assist" = 170k and "kill, damage, assist, components, kmmd, this, that, here, there and some more" = 170k.

Uuuu, that's a neat site. So... how do I fare?
And no, not bait, I am just confused by how can three completely different outcomes, one in which I do nothing, one in which I do my share and one in which I do okeyish all end up with the same credit reward. How does a first to die 4 damage done = 700 damage a kill and everything else that comes with surviving long in a match.
