(Edit) The linked list isn't mine, btw!

Are there any tier lists around that are more up to date than September last year? I enjoy having a good chinwag at well thought out builds, but sadly the most recent, good list is DenAirWalkerr's. I suppose things haven't changed substantially, but like I said it's always interesting to speculate.

Thanks for the list. Currently looking to update the builds of a few mechs and this provide some ideas.

Denair keeps his list updated decently well, but an alternative tier list wouldn’t be a bad idea. If I had some time on my hands I’d make one of my own.

This is still a fantastic piece of data which can give a rough estimate of mech power levels especially when combined with this survey: https://mwomercs.com...-december-2018/

After recent patches I would say that the list stays correct in general with some minor changes: ATM/LRM boats are stronger now and should be rated higher (can alpha several times, eating the ghost heat and continue firing just fine, DPS is pretty obscene). Some builds can drop some sinks and add more lasers. Laser-lights are stronger now, so PIR-2 is IMO even stronger than PIR-1 overall. Stealth mechs are stronger, DHL-boats are now much stronger.

Where have I heard that before?
But it's not true.

I was reasonably certain that a singular sentence topic would surely be read to its fullest by anyone planning to reply. Fiddlesticks :(

Fair point about lists though, most aren't great. Certainly, many don't take into account metagame changes among tiers imo. Even that one lists Fafnir as tier 0, which is true if you are an excellent pilot but otherwise, the reaction to one in the open tends to be of panic followed by an alpha strike from every nearby player.

No list is perfect, but I think denairwalkerr knows what he is talking about.

There are build and tree codes on that page. How or where can I use that codes? I am realy interested on skill trees.

The aforementioned tier list still seems largely accurate, it just misses a "ease of use" metric. And maybe a little clarification of the balance between weight classes. While I'd agree that the PIR and WLF are the best Lights, I'd argue that they're not on par with T0 Heavies.

You can import them in the Mechlab in MWO. Bring up the relevant 'Mech variant and select loadout or skills, depending on what you want to import.

It's missing VGL in the Tier 3 category ;)
