Since a year or more I see the same event every month only changing the name.
Halloween Fight, Easter battle, IChristmas hunt and so on.
And Goals are the same on and on.
Dont you also think this becomes a bit dull or unmotivating by the years?
Are you Devs realy so bored or uninterested of your own game MWO that you dont even try to make these Events a bit more different or surprising?
This should not need so much programming knowledge, jus a bit dedication.
And again, I know devs don’t read this forum but there is still a bit hope and I don’t use twitter or facebook.

Will They Ever Invent A New Event?

For a while they tried to make kinda quirky events. But then people decided that was too hard so they went back to "play game, win prizes", which suits me just fine. I used to live for these events. But I've never bought a cockpit item in my life except the freebies that came with early adopter rewards for buying mech packs that I was interested in and I have more cockpit items than I have 'mechs. All my 'mechs are permanently blinged out because I just have so many cockpit items that I got from these events that every cockpit in my mechbay jingles when it walks. After that happened I didn't see any reason to try for events anymore. The rewards are always cockpits items, GXP, MC, Cbills, and consumables, all of which I already have more than I know what to do with. Considering the fact that MWO is at its end of life, I doubt any serious thought or effort will be put in to making events more interesting. Ever since they stopped making mech packs I've just been wondering how long before they power off the servers.

They tried to have a headshot challenge and people flipped out.
They had a challenge for 500 match score and people lost their mind.
