you try and fix the missile hit registry in the actual match... to match what you tell us we did in the end results screen. I unloaded 180 MRMs into a shut down lynx... his armor was yellow everywhere afterwards and that's it. End results showed 841 damage which was just two strikes and all the MRMs I fired.

The wide spread of MRMs is a variable that may muddy the waters here, especially against smaller targets and/or at longer distances.

The game won't let you kill myth lynx because someone actually chose to use it willingly over a pir,cheeter, or kfox. mrms spread all to hell on small targets and most the time miss. Save the mrm for the heavies and above that mrm spread doesn't matter.

Was it an MG MLX or different loadout? I ask, because all pods other than the G arms and G right torso have serious durability quirks. Big structure if it's an arm with two lasers, big armor for all others.

Yeah MRM and SRM hit reg is bonkers sometimes. I think it is just the server lags and cant always calculate it all. I have seen some pretty funny ones, but they are rare. It seems more noticable with these but I bet it hits all the missiles and machine guns and ballistics at times too.

No he had 3 heavy medium lasers and that was it... that's why he kept shutting down. My 180 missiles didnt get thru the armor... that's the point... he was stationary...the range was only about 300 meters... i was stationary.....

You can have 3 HML and still have big durability quirks everywhere except the RT. 300 meters is honestly enough for MRMs to go everywhere, but I wasn't there so I don't know.

I've tried to use MRMs, but they always end up feeling underwhelming.

Try firing your MRMs in sequence (one launcher, then the second, then the third) as opposed to all at once.

Same with SRMs. The results are pretty interesting.

Hit reg is crap, but PGI doesn't care.. at all.. they have nearly all their resources devoted to MW5. They won't be addressing any real issues with MWO exxcept for the small .xml edits for "balance" and selling mechpacks
