The only Ultra rares that ever delivered good stuff were the ones opened in the NGNGTV stream with PGI employees opening the boxes in their own accounts...

The entire lootbox thing I think came from a dev meeting, where they threw sh*t at the wall, someone was like "well.... some games have loot boxes... like CoD...) and they all looked at each other and sort of shrugged and said "well, yeah alright why not... Joe you make those." And then Russ went back to playing Civ 5.

I ignore the things, once in a while some thing pops up and says I got one. It has items in it. Huzzah.
Course I played forever back in the day so I don;t really need anything. Guess if I was a new player scratching some cbills up to buy a PPC I might care more.
