Hi guys, just wondering for the Quickplay Matchmaker, does it take into account the following factors:
1. Number of Skill Nodes unlocked
2. Number of Consumables being brought
3. Player Tier Skill level
Are we always getting a balanced match up?

1) no
2) no
3) yes, but tier is useless because its only an XP bar and does not have anything to do with skill
The only thing that the MM "tries" to acomplish is having equal mech categories,
i.e. 3 light, 3 mediums, 3 heavy 3 assault

Anyone feel more could be done to make the Matchmaker help create a more equal level environment of Play?

Yes, but PGI wont invest anything anymore in this game except for creating new mechs any maybe tweak some XML files for balance.

probably, unfortunately i cant say the same thing about those who drop in qp.
the problem with the mm is that the release valves are always open.

PGI is always doing new things every month with a Patch, so lets see if things can change...

PGI hasnt done new things in a patch since solaris. New mech models for the pokemech whales and some minor adjustments of stats for "balance" is all we get
