Does it mean win the match by collecting intel?

EDIT: Looks like you have to actually win by evacuating the intel.

No, you don't need to win a match for it. Just stop on it and collect one intel node.

It's not apparently working 'cause I'm still 0 / 1 for that part.



Also I tried to leave with the intel but we still lost whent he time ran out, I don't know how to win XD We were standing on the drop zone when "departing" hit 0, but not all of the enemies were dead. Do we have to kill all of the enemies first and then get on the drop zone site?

Either the event page doesn't refresh fast enough (sometimes it takes a couple of minutes) or it is as you say and you need to collect an intel point for the fp counter. Although, it would be kind of misleading wording.

Also, the defending team can deny your exfiltration by staying in the exfiltration zone.

I seem to have trouble as well, definitely obtained the intell, won and lost matches. Yet still hasn’t registered on the news ask bar. Maybe there is something I’m not doing. Any suggestions? Do you have to win on the intell gathering and not the scout stopping mode?

Yeah you have to be on the intel-gathering team and win by delivering the intel to the dropship.

Update: After countless battles of wins in the wrong game mode and losses in the right game mode. With the nail biter finish of a legged cicada, limping it’s way to the dropship before departure. The win secured in collect data game mode, obtained the point needed for the event. Thanks for clearing that up shaytalis

I got my intel point without winning the match. In fact, due to the weird pick up point, we were on completely the wrong side of themap and not even able to get to see the smoke point, no fighting either, yet still got the point.

I'm pretty sure you have to do it while you're on the 'offense' team, as opposed to the one that's just trying to destroy the scouts

I dunno if you have to actually extract, though
