This is complete BS, When is PGI going to hold a GOLD MECH EVENT? Gold mech owners paid more than founders and all the other packages, yet get no event. Its lie after lie from PGI, they said in the beginning Gold mechs would have their own event yet nothing ever.

PGI continuously lets the fan base down in this department.

I have not seen a gold Mech in the wild for ages.

Anyway, I will probably dust off my Founder's and Phoenix Mechs for this event.

Its good they are being honoured .

BTW whats the heck is a Phoenix Unite thing . I heard of Founders but never that .

People bring LRMs when an event is on, no matter what the challenge is. And when they are done with it, they log out and everything is back to normal. It's a good time to try that dual AMS brawler you fashioned a few weeks earlier but never tested yet.

It was so, and if I remember correctly PGI did vote that if it was ok for Phoenix owners to sell those again and it was not.

Yes, you need to bring the (P)/(F) one, since a TDR-5SE from that package isn't different from the one you can still buy for .

Special mechs shouldn't be sellable - I don't know if that is true for the old ones, though. Ask support, your account history should show this.

There is no special event for ( R ) mechs. But since those mechs also come with a boost, they should have this boost be enhanced during the event. Either missing in the event description or forgotten completely, can't test it myself.

Checking my understanding that if you buy a mech from the current sale it WILL NOT allow the purchaser to participate in the founders or pheonix challenges?

On the plus side with pheonix mechs on the battlefield players can get the PHEONIX DOWN achievement.
