What is this nonsense? An entire event only accessible to people who bought gold 'mechs years ago before they were pulled from the shelves due to public outrage? Or have they started selling them again and I just can't find them? Please someone explain this to me and tell me it's not as bad as it looks.

i hope they are going to do origins and civil war while they are at it. these people may have got the game going but its the latter packs that are the reason its not dead. why dont you just give everyone thats spent over 200 bucks 10k mc or something.

the good news is i can sit 2 of these events out. as for the solaris event, what are the chances of getting all your 2v2s in, so i guess i only have to do half of them. im still kind of meched out from the holiday events. but farming mc to buy hero mechs is about all i do anymore.

now that i think about it this may very well be a scheeme to get old players back so they can artificially inflate their active population numbers.

Think about it logically. They just did an event for Founders and Phoenix, with prizes for those no-longer-available packs... which you weren't eligible for if you didn't spend RealBucks™ on said packs. You expected different for the way more expensive content that came later?

Personally I love shooting gold mechs, but I never see them because everyone else loves to shoot them too.

I'd love an event to draw them out.

People aren't envious of you having $500. They just think it's a massively stupid way to spend that $500. Even something silly like a giant Lego set would be a far more productive way to use that.

I've spent more on mechs than probably a good amount of the gold mech players, and I still think the gold event, let alone the gold mechs, is ridiculous.

I'm not sure scoring is being done correctly for the for the Invasion Mech event as I somehow scored a victory in a Stormcrow and I don't even own one.
