I often find spectating people playing badly makes me even more titled.

I find it useful to offer advice to exactly those kinds of pilots when dead.

you know i notice that during off peak hours if you play games serially you end up getting the same players over and over again. best way to break a streak is to get different players. like if you die early you can quit and start another match before that one ends, or if you can take a break, go play a couple solaris matches or a scouting match, and come back to desync with quick play button spamming drones that you keep getting stuck with. its like the opposite of sync dropping.

Seems like other people need to start giving better advice. Posted Image

I turned around enough games to write this. Offering some situational awareness, use of consumables, priority targets and opponent's weakpoints go a long way.

I have had 3 days of absolutely terrible matches. Like bad enough that I am getting pretty disenchanted.

I have been there. I try to not let this drag me down. My personal worst loss streak was an even dozen. Getting enough losses (especially stupid losses) in a row is really aggravating to me. So as of last weekend, I tend to just stop playing when I am getting annoyed.

Sometimes it only takes a single match for that to happen. Had that happen yesterday. Managed 2 matches today. All my matches, yesterday and today, were losses. And not close ones. I think my closest match was 4:12. And my performance was bad, too, because I did not survive long enough. I think I made a serious dent in my average match score...

But then, those Mechs are not going to skill themselves, I guess. That's what is so annoying. Having a new Mech, unskilled and then get one or two bad teammates and the snowball starts rolling... In my last match today, I was that bad teammate. Managed a whooping 180 damage or so in my Black Widow... Nascar left me behind hard, with 65kph Engine.

Makes me question whether I should continue skilling my Mechs (in theory I have 6 left to skill that I actually want to play) or just give up and play what I already mastered.

I think I would have stopped playing if that had happened to me. I was pretty close to giving up after my 12.

such that your losses so far on a season exceed your wins, that the matchmaker continuously puts you with other players in a similar situation so that it just continues to snowball with more and more losses barring acts of god or lightning strikes than you should actually win once in awhile. And conversely if you've pulled ahead on the season in the wins column, you'll continue to get other players in the same boat and thus its likely the winning will continue.

I had a positive KDR and WLR (prior to today for the latter) and this is how my last seven or eight games went:

So I honestly don't know where all the wins the matchmaker was supposed to hand me went. Granted, I didn't play much this season, but it sure as hell went down the drain. Nothing but losses like above for the last 24 hours. So, I hope that if there's no other positive side to it, it at least debunks your idea of wins piling up on "one side" of the player base.

I went on a pretty nasty losing streak last night too. It felt like every enemy team was organized, aggressive, and ruthless.

I ate a few potato chips, then felt like a cannibal.

Yeah this game has losing streaks like no other. I thought WoT could be fickle at times but damn MWO just keeps it going. Pretty sure some of my mechs are cursed right off the lot
