Kinda like Putting some point in the survivability tree for armor and structure seem pointless to me.

I use a fair amount of survivability. Firepower is more important, but the only thing more important than killing people is being tougher so you can kill people longer.

I only go for AMS overload if ever. But the bonuses aren't exactly that high simply because they are percentile, and Lights do have low armor to begin with.

It's basically like anything multiplied by zero is zero, but in this case it's like 0.15, so it's still pretty small. I use it on my Urbies though.

Er, did you notice that the percentages are higher for smaller 'mechs?

Even with a Light (and I don't use it terribly often on those,) getting enough armor or structure to take one more hit before you're legged is valuable.

I do, but again it's still percentage of a low value in the first place.

It's higher, sure, that's why urbies with more armor benefit with it better.

unless you where around for the 2013 weapons change.. you dont understand..period

This is all a result of a incorrect math calculation that was made very early in the game.. AND its been nothing but a trail chase since...

This game is a game of math and calculations.. (a lot which most people are unaware of)

They made the first mistake, We rioted then told us to bad.. and went on with it..

ever since then its been like this..

Wait and see Another weapons change is coming

Uhhh, I was there. And I don't see how past history would affect anyone's understanding of how balance sits now. Everyone has access to the same data, and how that data changed over time may be useful for modelling the results of a proposed change (or maybe not,) but that's about it.
