My mechlab and testing grounds are showing pre-patch values, such as C-HLL doing 18 damage. I even recently done a full reinstall and at first it was fine (showing recent values) then again recently it is now showing old values again.

How do I fix this annoying bug?

EDIT: I've uninstalled the game and deleted the game folder and the profiles folders. It still persists.

EDIT: Uninstalled, deleted everything again, searched entire drive for "mechwarrior" and deleted everything, installed fresh, and still screwed. What an impressive game.

Did you actually expect PGI wouldn't break things during a hotfix to correct one issue ?

Well supposedly it isn't broken for others (everybody else?). As I've said, I've uninstalled the game, deleted the leftover game install folder and the whole folder in saved games, reinstall from scratch and added/changed absolutely nothing, it's still all wrong. So much information in the mechlab is wrong (old values) and I have no idea why. There has to be some other folder left over from uninstall.

I had a similar issue, but the installation repair function of Steam seems to have dealt with it. If you're running it with the standalone launcher, though, I'm afraid I haven't a clue.

It's on steam and the cache verification doesn't fix it. Have tried it numerous times.

Can you submit a picture to verify?

Also, what is so game breaking if you have these 'old' values? Just roll with it then.

Do you have a mod for weapon visuals or anything similar that would rely on weapons.xml? Because that will absolutely revert the weapon stats to when the mod was made. It doesn't affect multiplayer but with velocity and spread changes it can make the game really jank.

Only mods are Haven's soundpack, and the heavy laser colour mod (Don't know who made it). I'd be surprised if a colour mod is doing this.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, this also affects the ghost-heat groupings of micros and smalls, my academy/testing grounds still thinks these are linked together still.

Oh so PGI unsupported Mods MAY have impacted your gameplay....

It's likely the color mod since it's a weapon it's modding and you're having issues with the weapon stats and groups. I have Haven's soundpack with no issues. My similar issue that was fixed with the Steam installation repair was on the C-Bill values and XP not updating no matter how many times I restarted.

(Gosh I hate discussing mods on the brown sea because it's such a taboo topic. Posted Image)

It is the colormod, because the colormod needs to change a line in weapons.xml to separate the Heavy Large and ER Large materials so they don't use the same color.

There was a patcher version of the mod but I can't find it.
