[Sergeant Titmilk]

I see players on youtube with the Annihilator that has 150+ armor on the center torso but my Annihilator has all the armor skills but 130+ center torso armor. What am i missing?

Is it the same model? Some of the annies have higher armor quirks than the others.

Yes it's the same model. It's the ANH-2A

EDIT: Odds are the youtube video was taken before the armor quirk nerfs that were applied to some of the annihilators and fafnirs - sorry my brain needs more heatsinks.

Quirks get changed periodically.

Yeah, the annihilator got its armour nerfed pretty hard a few months ago. Actually, I think it had two nerfs, as there was another mid last year too. Overall, it lost 20-30 armour on the CT, depending on variant and skills. The 1A has an extra 8 armour (plus skills) over the 2A if you want a bit more staying power, but you lose a ballistics slot for that.

it still has a good profile for spreading damage though, so it still feels tough, just isn’t able to walk into multiple enemies as easily as it used to.

Skill Tree.

Depending on the skill tree you have will depend on what armour bonuses and values you end up with.

One of my ANN has 145 CT armour and 73 structure for instance.

Really? Most of my Annis run 120 in the CT cause 90% of the time you die to LFE destruction and I can use that tonne elsewhere.
