give it 30 minutes and some programmer will have the macros ready on Reddit. How about just banning Macros all together. My God why make it so dam hard all the time.

Its not going to affect ammo usage to kill a mech. If the mech has 100 health in the CT for example, you still need to fire enough ammo to do 100 damage. What the macro did was speed up the rate of fire, and thus the DPS by 35-40% and eliminated the jamming and ghost heating penalty.

Some had gotten 40% improvement on DPS (Damage Per Second).
But most like to believe their own thing so have a look at someone else's proof of concept video from last week
Same mech and Atlas downed at 7 seconds versus 11 seconds.
