for a tower defence game, this games suxs really bad
the towers are missing, unbalance turrets, turrets that overheat and have rest heat.

only thing this game have is Red smoke damage ability's of cooldown of 10 seconds or something
graphics are oke for a tower defense game only 2 weapons both looks the same.

my rate
3/10 really bad tower defense game and really need more beta testers to make this game better.

The days of Strike Warrior Online are long over, man. It still sucks to be hit, but it's merely an annoyance these days, not a game breaking mechanic.

Low skill users man - it's the standard issue behaviour. Complain about something they can't work out how to adjust to.

I wouldn't go that far. A single Arty Strike can strik 40-50% off a light... The pallet DMG numbers are still to high IMO. Airstrikes are fine since the length of pallets was reduced but the actual pallet damage again, is still a little high.

If the overall pallet damage was reduced a little (say 15%). That would be enough and call it a day. Lights would still be a little gimped though but that's about it.

People need to dump some of skills points into Strikes to makes them deadly which means they are giving up points that could be going into Firepower or Survivability. It's cheap and annoying but it's rare that I run into a team with more than a couple strikes, even rarer one of them have the skill to drop the strike where it will hurt you are your team.

Arty strikes were lame from the get go, but nature finds a way - and the way is called nascar.

Kinda goes along with being a light; standing still is death.

"Unaware" in a class that depends on speed and tactical awareness?
The problem is in the pilot chair.

I kind of agree with strikes being a bit unbalanced. It's very difficult to set up a firing line to counter NASCAR when you just eat strikes all day long for doing so. I know there are methods to avoid getting hit and tactics to use and whatnot, but generally speaking, in QP, strikes dont CAUSE nascar by themselves, but I definately think they encourage it.

it's funny when people who are demonstrably inferior players try to tell better players what they did wrong.

It's funny when people use a fallacious appeal to authority in order to ignore when another player is right, too.

Even with great awareness and response time there is nothing you can do vs artillery when the smoke is not visible where you're standing/moving. Happens enough of the time where I turn a corner to see red smoke just as the countdown hits 0. Or the smoke is behind a visual blocker, or you're upstairs and someone drops the smoke downstairs, or the smoke is behind you.

With other weight classes it's annoying. When it happens to Light mechs you can say goodbye to 40-50% of your health. If you're at 100% maybe you'll survive.

I had a good real game video example of this, but I must have deleted it. This is what it looks like though when just 1 artillery hits a healthy firestarter with hitpoint quirks out the wazoo and max survival skills.

Strikes and overheat damage are absolutely brutal vs Lights. I just wish it was all a little more proportional.

Putting 10 pts into Misc tree for double strike/double coolshot is a no-brainer for min/maxing.
