Can be done with any sort of cordinated builds... plus having Wing 0 on your team helps a bit

First is a bit of range to work with which gives the Clanners time to wear down the enemy's slow assaults before they can get into optimal range. Second is being on defense which forces the attackers through a choke point creating a bit of a stream and helps the Clanners focus them down easier. Skilled IS teams on different maps, say Vitric or Emerald, who take 100-ton monsters and stack the gate when they are defending is still a big advantage for IS. All other factors being equal (like skill) there isn't much Clans can do in certain situations -- the math is just too strong in IS's favor. In short, the map and mode have a lot to say about the outcome but this is still very well done and a great example of how to defend Gamma gate on Sulfur.

Props though, when we fought you guys + ASH the other night; it was the reverse and you still beat us.

Yeah Rag's example is essentially the attackers being lemmings.
When the semi-rando group was attacking (I think 2 weeks ago now, been that long since I played FP)... We split up the defence BEFORE moving in. Which is the key to winning an attack on the maps like Sulfer/Vitric and sometimes Hellbore.
All it takes is 1-2 mechs with proper loadouts to break up a bunch of brawlers or dakka at a choke setup like that.

As if you would play any team differently on defense there? Pro or Lemmings?

Eh? If I was attacking I wouldn't be doing the lemming run, on that gate, into a firing line.
That red teams tactics were no existent.

You bring the mechs best suited to your playstyle as a solo, and in this case it wasn't very helpful.
I wasn't trying to disparage you bro.

Unfortunate that I could count the number of regular FP streamers with one hand.
There's one in the link below though. (self-advertisement at its finest)
