The real question is,why would a sane person use advanced zoom?
Well maybe is has its uses in fp....

easy and dirty fix
add checkbox in options: scale sensitivity to zoom level (only so noone can complain about a new feature that MIGHT mess with their aim)

you would end up with a lower sensitivity when zoomed

when do you zoom? - when opponents are at long range
on long range, objects are smaller on your screen
smaller opjects are easier to keep burns on with lower sensitivity


by lowering your sens to be able to keep burns on target you just give up twitchiness for CQC
pressing an extra button is not an option
outside macros tend to mess up in the most unfortunate moments

the only real solution is in PGIs hands

In theory for head shots, but hit registration in the game is finicky and the advanced zoom box so small as to make it a bit of a liability.

At least they put in Advanced zoom with targeting. In MPBT land zoom was used to view targets but actual targeting and hitting with weapons was not viable
