By far the UAV challenges are the most annoying moments I've had in this game along with getting pissed on by half the enemy team boating LURMs.

WTF is UAV Locked Damage? I've been popping UAVs on top of entire enemy teams and having the UAV stay there for nearly half a minute and yet in one match I've gotten 4 on accident (6 hours ago probably) and since then I cannot for the love of me get it. Wtf?

What tf even is UAV Locked Damage? Because I'm sht out of ideas -.-
I took me ONE TRY! to get a headshot. But a wide area UAV can't get this done?

And don't get me started on the stupid CounterECM Locked Damage, jesus... give me 10 500 scores instead of that any time of day!

EDIT: Here's another example. Just had a UAV light up their whole team and get 7 UAV detections, and it stayed there probably the entire duration, and guess what... mission not complete, still missing that 1 I've been chasing all day.
So what the hell is the requirement anyways?!

God knows how but it's finished with a single UAV over a single Incubus...

You need to have a friendly to shoot and hit a target with LRMs using your UAV as the spotter.

I know, it just wasn't happening, which you'd think someone would shoot any kind of missile during the 30 seconds half the enemy team is lit up, multiple times.

I really dislike the challenges that require you're teammates involvement to complete.

Got mine by doing it together with the TAG challenge. The teams I ended up with usually jumped on whomever I was tagging pretty quick, even the ones without lock-on weapons.

As a bonus, you get the ECM cancelling challenge done too if you TAG an enemy ECM 'Mech and it takes damage.

Played 2 invasion matches.. got most (like 90%) of the event finished.. including the UAV thing..

I just pop it, than use it, than shoot down the enemy's UAV..

Don't understand why it's hard for you..

Because it's me and nothing ever goes right, as in there's LURMs fkin everywhere except when I pop a UAV the enemy is completely unaware of.
Everything chance or team related is always extrahard for me because things never align.

The UAV challenge wasn't that hard, what is going to be hard is the Head Shot requirement. I don't have 50 total head shots out of like 6000 battles so not really expecting to get them one through normal game play anyway.

Well you don't exactly hunt for headshots every match either so...
Strap Gausses or Heavy Gausses. I got 8 headshots while skilling up my Hunchback-4G which ran a single Heavy Gauss.

FIGURED OUT THE COUNTER-ECM LOCKED DAMAGE!
You have to be Counter ECMing a mech and also keeping a lock on it when your team does damage to it (with missiles maybe).
