heard something about heat changes, what's the current state of heat?

Its hot (lol sry). Not really though, upper heat limit was lowered, but heat dissipation increased because some clan vomit meme build. We also have a really stupid new mechanic where if you have clan xl or IS lfe losing a side torso with 80% heat basically means instant overheat or death if you have override on, because....I have no idea

Ah ok, interesting, so whats the base heat treshold of a mech with it's internal 10 DHS?

...and also a reoccurring heat bug where you barely dissipate heat at all (which ironically the LFE and CXL changes were supposed to address but didn’t).

Don't forget the part where your heat bar can also give you an inaccurate readout, resulting in situations where you take overheat damage or shut down even though your bar is below 100%. The Dec. patchamthinghy was supposed to fix that one too.

About the only thing it really did fix were coolshot sales figures.
