Hi,
Is it allowed to use MWO theme (such as Mech screenshot, MWO logo) for T-Shirt?
Just for personal use.

Don't sell it and you can put anything on a shirt. Its when you start selling the clothes it gets risky.

That makes me wonder why PGI doesn't sell official merchandise besides virtual mech packs. I'd buy some minis or even figurines larger than the minis (action figure size) if they sold them. I guess that is CGL's business, but I think they should sell all of their in game models as 3D printed physical miniatures.

As I recall from the HBS attempt at merchandise, anyone who tries to sell Battletech/Mechwarrior stuff has to get approval from Topps, and pay them a generous portion of the proceeds. It's simply not worth it.

In case you haven’t heard the news, HBS is now offering these special BattleTech merchandise items thanks to a new licensing agreement with The Topps Company, (who own the intellectual property rights for physical goods).

Yeah I'll pass on that merchandise. I really don't want to support HBS for reasons I would rather not state here. I'll gladly buy anything else from CGL or PGI if they ever did get into a licensing agreement from Topps with their MWO models or physical merchandise.

Thanks o7
Sounds complicated and confusing.
HBS, PGI, Catalyst, Topps, who else....
I guess I'll just keep playing and forget about the Tshirt.

Why? As long as you are not selling it. Tattoo it, etc. I know some who had the Kuritan dragon tattooed, never mind Everquest tattoos and such
