If there was a super serious energy boat variant that would be the place for structure quirks.
Extra structure is REALLY handy for riding the dragon. Energy weapons also typically take up less crit-space than ballistics, making them a little less susceptible to crits.
But I digress, these things are going to be super easy to fold after you figure out the hitboxes.

So, who remembers what I said about the scale of the Corsair being about the size of a Zeus?
In the lineup in random order with some repeats for comparison, we have Old WarIIC, New WarIIC, Wolfhound (35 tons), Corsair free hero (95 tons), Zeus (80 tons) and regular Warhammer (75 tons).
And people thought it'd be huge...

Too bad you don't remember the skewed perspective the mechlab presents, or the part where no one said the zeus wasn't wide.
The corsair is big as **** and has predictable easy to isolate side torsos.

From the streams I've seen so far this thing is soooo easy to kill. Give it armor quirks as well, PGI. Make those taped armor plates be more than cosmetics

From my experience today so far, its quite the opposite. Half your back armor and max your front and you become one of the tankiest mechs in the game. Its clear some aren't doing so great in them (I've seen plenty not reaching triple digit damage), but they seem to mess up either their build (like, they try to minmax it but it just doesn't work out) or don't know how to pilot an assault. And this is coming from a primarily assault pilot.

All mechs should be front loaded.
It still doesn't help the thing, they get folded pretty easy. Huge + no armor quirks = fail
