Read the patch notes and I gotta say it just looks like they are buffing my play style on lrms and nerfing those lazy backfielders that give lurming a bad name.
With the proliferation of multi ams mechs reading that the new LOS arc will get more missiles past ams is sweet music to my eyes.
40% faster flight time from the shallower arc and then a speed boost shut the fudge up!
The way it favors the smaller launchers just plays right to the mechs I lurm with as I prefer the never ending stream of lrm5s from a Kintaro or Archer to the big splats of the 15s and 20s.
Pair of 10s on an ecm equipped Hellspawn mmmhhmmm.
The only thing I am disappointed about is that LOS doesn't shorten the arming range to say 50m but I get it that would make streaks more obsolete than they are and would probably induce rage quitting the game.
Seriously considering going back to running 8 5s on the Archer split into two groups on chainfire.
Since everyone is going to be trying it out I'll throw out a couple builds here.
This has long been one of my heavy lifters and got a bump from the new module system and the hitbox overhaul and this patch does nothing but make it better

While as a rule I never lurm with an assault this build is very LOS dependent and is designed specifically for producing the kind of fire and shake that prevents people shooting back in any effective way so yeah why not.
