I may have put a little bit of money into this game over the years. Are there any Mechs from this game that will be transferred into the new game?

absolutly different Games(MW5 only Singleplayer and 4 Guy Coop)...MW5 have no Mechs to buying as Microtransaction and other Mechlab and Rules for it-NoFantasybuilds like MWO -Variants thats you can only in little modified (no Engineswap or Ferro )

Not all Mechs from MWO in MW5 (timeperiod berfore the Claninvasion =no Clanmechs)

All time frame relevant mechs will (Likely) be available to everyone no matter what they've bought in MWO, and depending on how easy modding the game is, all the non-time frame relevant mechs will be available too.

Thats a little up in the air at the moment.

What we know is that the developers license to the Mechwarrior IP expires in 2020. Whether or not they will be granted an extension is confidential.

Technically, some of your mechs, or the mechs your money helped fund, already did transfer to MW5.. since all the artwork and 3D models are probably re-used just like in Battletech..

You're gonna have to earn them in-game tho..

Sure hope so, or at least until MWO2 comes out one day (still theoretical at this point). Now if mechs will transfer then... we will see.

Op - Nope! And, get ready to not be able to customize the ones you get as extensively as you can now.

Why would anyone want anything transferred into a singleplayer game from a multiplayer game???

Whats even the point of playing a singleplayer then if you already have all the mechs?

Srsly.

I bought a new pair of slacks five years ago. Can I get a free pair of slacks this year?

I have escaped the salt. My soul has stretch it's wings and I am now free.

It feels good.

I think you would want to start fresh in MW5, OP. It's all about running your mercenary company and making ends meet. If you started with a fully kitted out Atlas you could end up side stepping much of the game.
