I played MWO in early access and beyond, and there have been some changes to the game that hurt the experience in a big way for me. I will address them in individual posts.

Problem: When CW was announced, you all said you would temporarily increase quick match size from 8v8 to 12v12 to test things out for CW, but that it would return to 8v8. Well it never returned to 8v8, and I honestly think that had a huge negative effect on the game and game play. It's harder to have an individual positive effect on the outcome of a match the more people are in the game, and death balling becomes more and more prevalent. Also, I never saw Nascar behavior when the game was 8v8s. IMO, Nascar behavior exists because you can't push the team directly without getting melted by a 12 man firing line. You can barely poke. No assault can tank that much firepower long enough for their team to make a real push. So instead of pushing in a tactical way (the assaults purpose), people choose to run circles to try to get behind the enemy, resulting in Nascar. This puts slower mechs at a disadvantage. More firepower and more eyes on the field also diminishes the usefulness of the light mech. Harder to hide, easier to die to more stray shots. Nascar behavior also makes tactical scouting for indirect LRMs less frequently helpful. The increase to 12v12 is what finally made me stop enjoying the game, and every time I try to come back, it makes me leave again.

Solution: I would like to suggest a few solutions. Either change Quick Match back to 8v8, or make it an option to queue for 8v8s. Also make 8v8 matches only able to go to smaller maps. There may also be something to be said for 4v4s but that might be going too far. Especially with Solaris around (Which I love btw, and brought me back to the game for awhile. Thank you so much for Solaris.) I know some may say that adding another Matchmaking queue will only divide the player base making it harder to find a match, but it might also fix problems and bring players (like me) back to the game.
