Yet another well explained PGI give away! (/end sarcasm)

So I pre-ordered MW5 before the Community Pre-Order was announced. I think I redeemed all the code that was sent to me for different pre-order bonuses.

So how are these 4 special mechs going to be incorporated?

I am fairly certain from these vague sentences that these are MWO mechs right?

So, do I still get them? Are they automatically dropped into my MWO account? Or do I need to claim them from MW5 account? (GOD, why are there 2 accounts for the SAME GOD DAMN COMPANY. Just imagine if Steam or Ubisoft or whoever makes you make a separate account for ALL YOUR GAMES. GOD !@#$!@#$)

Will they get sent to my email?

Am I not getting them?!?!

Do I need to claim them?

WTF there is Like ZERO explanation to how the process works.

Log in to your MW5 profile. Under the heading 'MWO content' you'll now find 'MWO Early Adopter Variants Code' which you redeem here same way as you did the previous stuff.

Are we really complaining about an added bonus of 4 30% cbill boost mechs that are new variants? I mean, getting MW5, MAD-II, 12000 MC, and now these 4 mechs is pretty cool all for the price of a video game... I mean, I was going to buy MW5 on principle anyway.

I think OP is complaining about the way the communication was done, rather than the free stuff.

On the question of which game they'll be in...they couldn't have made it more clear. (One big fear is that once players are playing MW5: Mercs they won't come back to MWO...so many of the bonus things are over here so PGI MWO doesn't become lonely like Springtrap)

Now where I could understand... is yeah it didn't mention anything about "Hey we put a fourth code for the new mechs."
Of course if he already redeemed four codes, one of them flat out says
"MWO Early Adopter Variants Code [Click to Reveal]"

Of course, this means anyone buying the game again (such as the guy whom bought one for himself and another for his wife: he claimed both MC codes on his MWO to cash out like a bandit and gifted the other Marauder code (since you can't double stack that What that guy will do with the variant code, who knows, maybe it'll let him snag doubles. Maybe he'll have to gift that too.) will have yet more codes to deal with and/or distribute.

These are rather stupid questions but I seem to have missed it in the FAQ so I'll ask questions here:

"When I pre-order $50 MW5 version, I'll get the Standard Marauder II pack plus all the other content like 1 each of MW5 themed decal, warhorn and standing item for MWO and on top of that, now the 4 bonus mechs as well?"

"After I make the purchase, I use the code to redeem the items by logging into the MWO account here but will I immediately activate the premium time?"

"Once MW5 releases, I presume I input the online code into my Steam account to download the game?"

Now the 4 bonus mechs as well (if you do it before the 9th of April, after the 9th you only get 3, etc..).

Premium time is banked. Mine was. I mean I'm sitting on 4+ years of premium time (and never bought any directly; it always came with stuff I bought or in some cases awarded to me).
Its active but doesn't start until what is most likely the MC code is redeemed.

Yep.
Steam is the primary place to redeem the community preorder, though the FAQ says that other locations may become available for 'standard preorders' closer to release date (like the Epic Gamestore no doubt and GoG).
Wonder if we'll be given a choice later or if there's a contractual agreement locking this to steam for now.

Specifically we'll get a game key to put into Steam.

Actually correction -- its active. My bad. That would explain the 40+ days I have considering I haven't activated any lately.

But it doesn't activate until you put in either the Item or MC code (not sure which).
Since the items haven't released yet, just don't put that one in. And I wouldn't put the MC code in until another 50% off sale goes by.
In my case I bought it at the time because almost all the heroes were on sale, and I gnabbed up 30 something heroes and 40+ mechbays at half off.

So its "banked" until you put the code in.

Think premium time is tied to the MC code, the item code didn't exist right away as that came later.

2. Cockpit items, titles and stuff
3. Marauder 2 pack
4. pre-order bonus mechs

Ah, so, I can purchase the MW5 pre-order and redeem the codes for Marauder 2, Cockpit items and Pre-Order bonus mechs right away so that I can get them the moment they are released and then save the MC and PT code for whenever I want.

That is what I got out of it as well and I kind of agree with him because honestly, until I read this I was just assuming they would be injected into my account on the appropriate date since I had already claimed my original MW5 pre-order. I would mostly likely have figured out that I needed to log back into my MW5 account after I realized the mechs didn't get injected but honestly, there is nothing, anywhere that indicates that I need to log back into my MW5 account and apply yet another code to get the content. That is kind of an issue.

I just redeemed all the codes, I got the typical injection that showed all the benefits, I purchased as soon as the pre-order dropped months ago, but... dun dun dun.. no new mechs. Clear as mud...

For me the New Variants Mechs took a little bit to be injected.

And in the Redeem section for MWO, the codes will appear as:

MW5 Pre-order Collectors MWO Bundle (near the top, the others were lower towards the end)
Marauder II
MW5PreorderVariants
(Redeem 962) or something along that line

MWO MC Bundle Code [Click to Reveal]
MWO Item Bundle Code [Click to Reveal] << this was is the (Redeem 962), others are self explanatory.
