I've said this before, I'll say it again...

If you're "always" finding yourself on the loosing team.. the only constant common to all those matches is you.

Therefore, we have no other choice than to deduct that YOU are the problem.

You threatening to shoot your teammates could also be a clue that the above is correct.

So I suggest you try to get a regular group, or train with some of the more experienced players, and also hone your skills in QP and Solaris, before you drop against large premades in FP and GQ..

There's also the Academy.

You can train using specific weapons, and practice making builds that work for you.

Look for a group that is recruiting, they can be a great asset.

Wisdom of the ages...

But...there is only one O in "lose".

No. Not in this particular case.

I happen to know that the reason the OP is ALWAYS on the losing team, is because Paul hates him on a personal level. It took weeks of dev time to write the code script, and then carefully sneak it into the next patch so no one would catch it. And of course, it had to be kept out of the patch notes...

No idea what the OP did to make Paul hate him so bad, but it must have been awful.

Or, alternately, it could just be that the OP has had his turn with the RNG deity, and this too will pass.

Did he dragonbowl him back in closed beta when knockdowns were a thing?

No, worse than that I think. I think he once stood in front of Paul in the checkout line at a grocery store...

WITH 12 ITEMS IN HIS BASKET in the 10 items or less checkout line.

... sends shivers down your spine, doesn't it?

What mechs do you play in what game mode the most? What are their loadouts? What is your playstyle with them? Answer some these so people can maybe advice you in some ways to improve your games.

Jarl's list tells me that you don't always lose, but have quite a lot of variety in your monthly performance. Think back what you did right in the better months and try to bring that back to your games.

If you're on a losing streak, either have a little break or play the best performing mech you have to get your mental state to a more positive state by having a few wins. Having a bad time playing usually ends up in bad games too. At least that's how my mind works.

There are a few tips that can sometimes break losing streaks.
1. Switch your mech to a different type I.e. brawler to scout to sniper to lurm boat to ams boat etc.
2. When the the match starts to go south get very “aggressive” so that you die next then immediately leave match, switch mechs and join another match in current mech. At least you’ll know all the previous losers are still in a match when you queue up.
3. Wait. Fix a snack, take the dog outside, clean the kitchen, whatever. Just give it a few minutes before requeueing.
4. Rage quit, exit steam, open GoG and play something else. Steam tracks your activity, if you rage quit and then use a competitor, they notice.

Did you notice though that the last season they played was back in 2017? So they're coming back from a long hiatus. Celthora: I'm not going to pretend I'm great at this game, but I do okay. I'd imagine a lot of the loadouts you have are no longer meta. There have been numerous balance changes since you last played and tactics are different now. I'd suggest spectating a few other players and looking at their loadouts and trying to switch it up.

Switch playstyles for a bit, if you normally pilot an Assault, try a fast medium etc. Sometimes it's not you, it's your 'Mech being hard countered by a shift in the meta. A couple of seasons ago I went on a mad losing streak for most of the month, I went from 2 w/l to 0.8 ish. Ouch. Eventually things picked up but yeah, it happens OP. Don't be too hard on yourself, try playing a different game and giving MWO a break.

Off course each player contribute to victory and defeat of his team, I've understood this simply looking at my charts with different mechs : if my contribute to the game was negligible, then my W/L ratio would be always roughly the same. Instead, to my dismay, I've seen that my gameplay, my scores are actually affecting those of other 23 people. This led me to review all my mechs and how I play them. Finally, after a long time I bought a AHN, took a bit to make it combat ready, but now I see how much my game affect everything. At the beginning I refrained to play assault mechs, I always thought that it was better to learn to play lighter mechs, but in the end, it was an assault mech that taught me how much it is important to be in the right place, at the right time, doing the best thing.

Legit advice in this, man.

I'm currently sitting on a 5 day streak of losing 3 out of every 4 games BADLY after yanking my stats upwards pretty solidly previously, and it's disheartening. Can't break 300 damage in most games because I get focused and wrecked early (half my own incompetence, half just bad luck from what I can tell). I considered just walking away from the game, because even if winning isn't everything, it's not fun to always lose because me and my team are 'tatering so frequently.

But y'know what? It's not the first time I hit a losing streak. And I broke the last one by cycling through my mechs and playstyles until I found something that worked with whatever meta-minoris is going around at the moment. Meta shifts work like that, and even in individual games it can shift drastically, without altering the larger game-meta that everyone thinks of when you say "meta".

Now, is matchmaker stacking some pretty well known names on one team on occasion? Oh yes, it is. I have screenshots to prove it, but that was happening even when I was on winstreaks. Hell, I cored out a couple streamers during that last hot-streak that were on the same QP team as some of 228 and R79T, while we were mostly tagless back then. So, it's nothing PGI can fix, that's on you. Take a breath, try a different playstyle, a different mech, a different path, etc. It'll start working, I promise you.

Edit: Bruh, you have a .99 W/L and a 1+ W/L. The cornbread hell are you mad about? Look at my stats and see true potato action!

I think your right. OP must have been in a Jenner! It's all so obvious the years of Jenner hate from all these years! OP killed paul once! Paul has been getting his revenge on both since closed beta!

I know the frustration the OP feels...

Fun fact... during the BIG MOOD event a bit back, the last objective I needed to finish out the whole event with was the "Earn 5 Victories", I had completed all others prior... this was... the final undone objective.

Now, this could be used as a boast, speaking to the sheer unequaled awesomeness that is my skill at the game.... but I can hardly type that with a strait face... let alone back it up... I am not some godlike player who can rack up all those objectives in fairly short order....I might be, at best, mediocre. This event took a lot of matches to complete in full and a whole truckload of it was done with losses.

Because the tier system is broken (you are probably in queue with people above your tier level because tiers mean nothing).

Because you and/or your team probably lost the game in the mechlab (suboptimal/mixed/lurm/too hot/undegunned builds).

Because you are doing less than 500 focused damage per match (means 500 damage in NOT a lurm/streak/atm mech)

Because your in game and windows mouse sensitivities are too high (you may even have acceleration on) and your aiming sucks.

Because you chainfire weapons.

Because your keybindings make it so that it adds milliseconds to your reaction time.

Because in quickplay you aren't playing as a team. Carry harder.

Because you don't know the maps and where people generally go very well. You react to where enemy players are going instead of anticipating based on past games (or lack of past experience.

I could go on...

In quickplay, if you're losing a lot, it's your fault or the result of chance (50/50), because THERE IS NO TEAM.
