Hi there,
my suggestion is that you can control each arm independently. This would work as following:
1. Press a new unlock button to unlock/lock independent arm movement
2. You need a device (for example joystick) to controll the arm movement independently.
3. You can hit multiply opponents at the same time to supress them (for example with RACs or pulse lasers)
The ideal setup would be two joysticks with analog sticks. Each joystick would controll one arm, one would controll the legs with a analog stick and one the torso. This way you could target up to three mechs simultaniusly. Of course we would need additional targeting pips.

You can already do that, leave the Torso Haircross on target press& hold Left ctrl and aim with the arm haircross on another target. Neds lot of practice but it´s doableto fight 2 targets- I know some pilots who can do that very good but as i said needs lot of practice
