Been back and forth on preordering. The arse just fell out of the Aussie dollar thanks to China banning coal imports. As a result, definitely no mw5.preorder for me.

Ergo, you can blame China's coal embargo for a lost sale. True story. I'll get it post release when A$ is trading a bit healthier.

If you have have already redeemed two codes, go back to the page since the one of the codes that was supposed to be for both MC and items only injected the MC. There is another separate code to get the items.

Ok Stupid question but:

The early adopters expires in said window.... I got that. What i wanna know is:

Is this also when the MW5 preorder closes as well?

It doesn't word it as such. My take on it is that only the Marrauder II expires.... The MW5 preorder and all its assosiated benefits does not.

It would seem to extend the early adopters perks with MW5 thrown in....for a small additional fee lol

MW5 can still be preordered up til September. I do believe however the window for some of what is included as a bonus will close before then.

You got me. I bought the std pack. Hope it will help with MW5 to be better. Its better to give all the money to you than 30% to the Steam

Steam only gets money for copies sold on steam. If you preorder over PGIs service, steam dosn't get a dime from that. At least that is my understanding of how things work with steam.

Thats also why I think 30% aren't that much. You get a "free" storefront, advertisement and lots of potential costumers, a working money transfere system...basicly all in infrastructure that comes with steam.
All things a company would have to invest a lot of money into otherwise.

But no where OFFICIAL does it say that. At this moment there is no mention of a window for MW5 + Marrauder II and all the rewards

There is an important diff here. If im understanding this the way I have outlined then Im gonna wait. Get all the stuff the Marauder II brings plus get MW5 AND the early access for an extra ~$10 for std pack or extra ~$20 for collector or extra ~$40 for ultimate.

As it is RIGHT now I believe that I could order MW5 preorder on July 31st, Get everything offered now for the maurauder and start MW5 beta the next day with the full copy 30 days later. THIS is the way Im playing my cards and is how PGI has laid them on the table I believe. It doesn't even matter if the Marauder II is released before this.... Id miss the adopter percs…… doing it this way I get it all marauder window passed or not and not have to wait for a beta I cant touch till Aug 1 anyways

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this particular deadline is for the Early Adopter Marauder II items. Whether you buy the Marauder II pack on its own or pre-order MW5, you get the cockpit items, pattern unlocks, 6.5M c-bills etc. if you redeem the Marauder II pack prior to the 28th.

If you pre-order MW5 in July I think the only thing you'd miss is a few of the extra aesthetic items for the Marauder II in MWO.

Is it the MWO Item Bundle Code that gives the premium time?

There's 2 times premium time involved. One comes with the Marauder pack and will be injected when the mech drops in April. The other comes with the "MWO MC bundle code" which can be redeemed seperately at any time you wish.
