Hello everyone and welcome to the official thread for the very first Ur-pocalypse! Urbanmech tournament... a Urbie Derbie if you will.

I'm Fat Tony Barbarosa, your host for this tournament of immortals.

There were will be two different tournaments, a one on one and a lance on lance. We'll also be hosting a Grand Melee or two and even a Biggun' hunt. Let's go over the details of each and the schedule of events.

All events will be on Saturday, April 20th starting at 7pm Central standard time.

One to Rule Them All: Singles Tournament. Starting at 7:15pm CST

This will be our 1v1 Urbie on Urbie smackdown tournament. It will be a single elimination with a random bracket created. Brackets will be posted the week of the tournament.

It Takes Four to Make the Thing go Right: Lance tournament Starting at 8:15pm CST

This will be the 4v4 tournament. Single elimination. You form your own team/lance ahead of time and bring your buddies to the brawl.

Ur-Pocalypse Melee: The Grand Melee To be held after the tournaments conclude.

This will be dropping all our Urbie pilots together in Solaris City, gathering at the Center Square and then duking it out till only one remains. Multiple Melee's will be held if need be.

Biggun' Hunt: To be held after the Grand Melee Concludes

An Atlas and a Kodiak take on two lances of Urbies at a time.


There are no limits on builds so go nuts and bring it!

To sign up, please leave your in game contact information and which events you would like to sign up for in this thread. If signing up for the 4v4 tournament please include your teamates' names as well. I may also need a little help with obeserver/judges for the events.
