Greetings All;

My first post. I hope it is in the correct forum. First priority - <SALUTE> to Piranha for making this experience possible. With all the dynamics involved MWO will never be perfect, but it is still amazing. Thank you!

Due to the Faction Play Update public test, I had the opportunity to participate in Faction Play for the first time. I had my teeth punched in, my gonads crushed, my kneecaps smacked with a bat and my feet nailed to the floor with a nail gun. My total damage done was embarrassing. All that considered, it was an extremely worthwhile experience. Much learning was accomplished in the 1 hour of torture.

I learned -

1. I need a team. Teamwork is your most effective weapon.
2. I need personal skills. piloting, gunnery, tactical awareness.
3. . . . mechbays, mechs, mech skills.

I now have a destination and am plotting a course to get there. Thank you Piranha.

we've all been there, don't worry.
Faction is (beside actual comp games) the most fun and rewarding gamemode.
hope to see you on live faction as well.

we just discussed that in another topic.
You kind of need 50 to 60 million c-bills for your first (kick ***) deck, be it clan or IS (you kinda want to build the IS deck first since there are more IS factions to grab mechbay rewards and such).

Sound much but if you can, ask for a faction pick up group and you can easily earn 10 mil in a day (if you put in some hours). Your mechs/ skill level doesn't matter at all).
