Hi guys.
Has anyone successfully jumped onto the drop ship at the beginning of the match?
One time i notice one of the drop ship was late on Grim Plexus.
And it was actually lower than nearby hill. Could a jumping mech with skilled jump jet succefully jump onto the ship and fly away with it? I wonder where will it go? :)

I've done it. Was late on the screenshot. After a second or two, you drop through and out a bay in the bottom. It's easiest on Frozen City if you're in Alpha lance on the dropship side.

This. I've done it my Viper hoping to hitch a ride across the match. It seems like the physical hit-box disappears the moment the flying away animation begins.

I still jump on it in scouting though, nothing like hiding on top of the dropship waiting for the timer to hit that critical moment.

Most amusing time I've done this was to the opposite effect, I was running on internals and being pursued on scouting, it's 4v1, I'm making a B-line for the ship. As I approach the zone a Splat-Griffin appears in-front of me, I hit my jets and soar over his head avoiding the alpha-warriors strike. Like an eagle I land perched on top of the dropship as the timer hit's zero... "You have failed to reach the dropship in time!"... Could have at least flown away with me on it's back....

i dont think the dropships have a full set of hit boxes. just what it needs to protect the mechs so you cant hit em through the dropship like you used to be able to do.
