If he's got a 970m, it's probably a laptop.

It obviously really early but will a RTX 2060 be able to run this game with DXR enabled at 1080p 60 comfortably?

An rtx 2060 at 1080p is like driving the speed limit in a lambo.

I'am so hyped for this game, please make it AWESOME.

If you start having betas and demos can you do it on steam for easier downloads? Just keep the game unlauched and only us with keys can test it!

What exactly do you find so difficult about the current MWO Client (https://mwomercs.com/game/download) that you would rather have it via Steam ?? Posted Image

Don't get me wrong : I like Steam! Posted Image

But... if I can easily avoid it then I always do! :)

D*mn that's lower than expected. Goes to show what happens when you use a correctly built and optimized engine *cough cough*

Your Core i5 2400 is roughly equivalent to a Core i3 7100, but your GeForce GT 730 is nowhere near a GTX770.

Doing some googling it looks like you've got a BTX based system with a pretty weak power supply. It's unclear whether you have a system that needs low profile cards or standard width cards though; if your computer accepts standard width cards you have an narrow upgrade route, though if it only accepts low profile cards you're kind of hooped.

While I trashed on the GTX 1650 earlier in the thread if you have a standard width case you might be one of the few people that might make use of its performance versus power efficiency (the one plus it has over an RX 570), though don't worry too much about buying a card soon; wait until the card drops from its launch price. If you are comfortable searching inside your case you can check if your power supply has a 6 pin power adapter for external power for a graphics card, but if you're not then concentrate on GTX 1650 cards that don't use an external 6 pin connector. One point to note is that you may have to update your computer's BIOS to get the card working, so don't immediately throw out your 730 before getting a 1650 to work.

In an Nvidia bubble the GeForce GTX 1650 isn't a bad card, and if you can wait for the prices to creep down into the ~$120usd range where it should be relative to its overall performance in the gaming card market you could get one last performance upgrade for your ancient system before being forced to buy a new system.

Just use a cheap 60Hz monitor and use fast sync if you have an Nvidia card. Allows you to turn off Vsync and reduces input lag.

Not bad requirements. I was never really intrested in MW5 and nowadays Fallout 76 is taking all my time, because new stuff coming to it nearly weekly.

Currently the Radeon RX570 can be had for $130 to $140 on Newegg, and the RX 580 can be had for $190 to $200. In terms of price for performance the RX570 still beats the new $150 GeForce GTX 1650.

The RX580 is overall competitive with the GTX 1060 for the same price, though the GeForce GTX 1660 is faster than the RX 580 for a reasonable increase in the budget ($220 to $230 for the GTX 1660 at Newegg). The price and performance of the Radeon RX 590 is comparable to the GTX 1660. I wouldn't criticize anyone for choosing one card over another other in the 580, 590, 1060, 1660 grouping based on personal preference and budget (assuming the RX 590 and GTX 1660 don't drop down to the price of the other two). They're all good gaming cards that provide reasonable value here.

It's when you get to the $300+ range where AMD starts to struggle to offer cards with the raw performance of Nvidia. The Radeon Vega 56 is a bit slower than the GeForce RTX2060 at the $300 price point, and the Vega 64 can't match the RTX2070 let alone the RTX 2080. The Radeon VII is AMD's top end card, but considering how much power they have to push through it to keep up with the 2080 it seems AMD's Vega architecture is struggling to keep up with Nvidia's Turing architecture at the top end.

Apperantly better drivers help AMD alot.

LOL, a streamer kid that does not understand antistatic mesures. Way to cause the premature failure of an expensive video card.

It actually needs more than 80Gb. The game itself is 45Gb installed but their patcher is so poorly coded that it requires 44Gb of free hard drive space before it will allow a 250Mb update to even begin downloading. I contacted support and their response was "Apparently, you only need to have the free space, the game do not get download again." So their answer to the problem was to reiterate the problem as the solution... Piranha Games... sigh
